I really like your new comparison chart and product details format. Although the old one was very informative, it was too busy.

I was a little surprise to hear that the new Tactical 5.0 will not have removal sleeves : ( . I sometimes travel where I start the morning at a location in 45-60 deg weather and may end up at 75 deg so I can always remove the sleeves from either my Evolution jacket or Tactical 4.0 to avoid getting too hot. Hope you will reconsider keeping the removal sleeves on the 5.0 although I understand that it is a way to cut back on production/design costs.

Thanks for the post; actually, it was not a decision based upon design or production costs, as it does not cost that much more to add that feature, and the design is already done. I just really thought for a true winter jacket, it should not have removable sleeves. I am open to a discussion on this point, and can perhaps give my thoughts via tomorrow's blog in video the pros and cons of removable sleeves on this version. Let me know your thoughts.

I think it's great that your working on the Tactical 5, as I love my 4(s) and use them all the time, or just the fleece in summer when required.

What would be intersting is to know what situations the clothes are designed for, and what problems you are trying to solve. e.g What type of headphones are you expecting people to wear, the Shure E series currently have problems because of the behind head fitting, so the ear bud pockets are not used. Although I'm been impressed when using normal headsets.

As for sleeves ... personally I normally leave them on, although when it is hot it would be useful to unzip the underarms to help cool off.

I also use Shure headphones; awesome quality but they don't work as well with the earbud pockets, but personally i rarely use the earbud pockets, but my wife, Laura, always uses them. I will post shortly today thought process regarding removable sleeves and perhaps save for tomorrow a post on which sev is best for what weather, etc.

I think the new comparison chart looks great. Exactly what's needed.

If you get enough product lines going simultaneously, it might be a good idea to have something a bit more interactive, so the customer can pick a bunch of options (e.g. waterproof, male, hood) and the site presents matching products. There's probably not quite enough yet to demand something that powerful (and you may be planning not to have too many simultaneous lines). But something to think about.

Nice to hear about that bluetooth headset. I've just ordered a Jawbone which is supposed to have great noise cancellation.

Thanks for your comment Pat. We will think about your comments on the comparison chart and reconsider once it goes live. Since we only have about 16 or so products, not sure that we need that much horsepower on the comparison chart for now, but for sure eventually.

Let me know how you like your Jawbone Bluetooth headset. I thought about getting one, but it looks a bit too obvious. bad word choice, for me. The BlueAnt has good noise cancelling software. I did like Jawbone demo on their website.
