I know that you all have been chomping at the bit to get more info on the upcoming SCOTTEVEST Men’s Fall coats, and guess what? In July I received a box full of them! I only had a few days to check them out and try them on, but that was long enough to know that this will not only be a very good fall season for women who have been waiting for their new SeV styles, it will be a very good SeV season for men as well.

The designs that I received were just about finalized, but there is a chance there might be a few minor changes before their release. These products are not yet even on the SCOTTEVEST site and they can’t be pre-ordered, but Scott will be formally announcing them on his site sometime next week and they will be available soon after. I will update this post with the release dates and proper web links as soon as I have them, and we will have full reviews of each product after they have been released.

But for now … enjoy this sneak peek!

Sport Coat

This is the jacket that I know many men have been clamoring for, and with good reason! There are times when a casual jacket just isn’t going to cut it, when you need something that will look good with a pair of khakis and a bright tie … and here it is, your new Sport Coat. With many of the same pathways you have come to expect in all SCOTTEVEST TEC enabled garments, the Sport Coat never lets on that the wearer is wired for sound or toting their electronic arsenal. Instead observers will only see a guy wearing a nicely tailored jacket; even the interior is refined! There are no see through windows or obvious gadget slots, yet this jacket still manages to conceal 24 pockets! A Teflon coating helps the jacket resist spills and stains, and you can choose between black and dark gray.

The Sport Coat will retail for $200.

Carry On Coat

The Carry On is the coat which seemed to take the internet by storm when photos were first released! 33 Pockets make this garment a carry-on substitute, hence the name. Whether you’ll ever want to fill every one of those pockets will be up to you, but the good news is that you do not have to! The jacket is cut to look good whether you are simply stowing your phone and wallet or if you need to carry much more. The cool thing is that if you are traveling there is no overnight bag to wheel through the airport, and when it is time to check in, you can simply send the coat — with pockets stuffed — through the X-Ray.

The coat is composed of waterproof, breathable Teflon-treated fabric; it has a storm collar with button tab and magnetic stay, magnetic storm-flap and magnetic pocket closures to keep the elements out and keep you dry. If you get splashed with muddy water while wearing it, the Carry On coat can be machine washed.
