Cool idea. If you mark out with chalk where to position the tripod and use the same height, and also keep a wide enough angle with a high-megapixel camera, you could definitely blend the photos in Photoshop. Only issue would be lighting at different times of the day.
Is that a lodge on the other side of that rock outcropping? That reminds me of a spot in NY with a view of the Hudson River all the way down to NYC.
Hi, Scott. That looks like a great place for a photo shoot. Those rocks make a great backdrop and really emphasis the "outdoorsy" aspect of your product. The contrast of the clothing against the basalt should really pop the colors.
There's another place not far from you that you might want to consider too and that is the Craters of the Moon. There is a lot of good basalt rock there as well, albeit with a different texture, and one place in particular where there is a house sized upwelling where you could put several models at once.
We were at Craters of the Moon a couple of years ago. Stopped there on the way to Yellowstone. Beautiful spot. I understand that the astronauts did some training there.
That is definitely an awesome spot...lighting would be an issue though. Maybe you should take some action shots there. Maybe you and a model, or some solo shots of someone fishing or listening to music reflecting on the fact that now, with his SeV, he gets to “Bring what he left behind”.
BTW, what's that guys doing up there at the end of the video? Looks suspicious.

Hi Scott,
That looks like an amazing place for a photoshoot. Can I be a model ? :)
How about getting some Scottevest customers around your area to model your products?

Hi Al,
How do you know about Craters? It is way cool but kinda far, and hard to coordinate the models/clothes, etc. but is very cool for sure.
