Today's blog post is a bit different. It is a video of me being interviewed by Matthew Scott. The background is below. It is a bit long, and in 2 parts, so feel no obligation to watch it, but I think that Matthew's questions were VERY good and thought provoking. Let me know your thoughts.
BTW, I am wearing a first sample of a new light weight jacket, which I am loving.
See below for the context of the interview.

Dear Scott,
I love your story and your company. I also enjoyed your recent appearances with Donny D.
I would be honored to interview you for 30-minutes via phone and share your story of lawyer to successful business owner with my audience.
I lead a seminar program called men@pause seminar. The obvious play on words of men@pause is to equip executive and entrepreneur men @ intersection of professional success and personal significance.
I am a former Army Special Forces Officer that left Army in 1994 and climbed the corporate ladder. I was a co-developer of a biotechnology business that we took public and sold for 16x earning almost four years ago. After taking a brief "mini" retirement, I began to run into so many successful men that were miserable in work and felt guilty about not having a personal life.
I decided two years ago to start my company, The Life's Work Group, Inc. to equip executive and entrepreneur men in transition.
To no surprise to you, many of those men are lawyers.
Your story will inspire my audience and provide a marketing opportunity for you.
The visual metaphor of my clients and customers is a married man wearing a rolex and a Scotte Vest.
Will you please consider my interview offer?
You can learn more about me and my company at http://www.lifesworkcoach.com
P.S. I am groveling to my wife as we speak for my allowance to buy that black Scotte Vest!
P.S. Want instant access to my men@pause seminar and workshops where I equip executive and entrepreneurial men in
transition @ intersection of professional success and personal significance..? Join me now!

Scott... As an entrepreneur myself, I truly appreciate this interview. As a friend of Matthew Scott and Men@pause Seminar member and as a new fan of the ScotteVest line of products, Thank You for allowing us to watch this and for your obvious candidness during this interview.
Hi Scott,
I heard your interview at www.lifesworkcoach.com and gotta say it was of the most interesting I've heard in awhile. What a great interview medium.
Keep up the great work!!
Jeff
I read Matthew Scott's blog post at his men@pause blog site and really enjoyed your video interview. It was an interesting and unique way of recording an interview. I appreciate you sharing your story and I must admit that I really enjoy Matthew Scott's interview style. Could offer some constructive feedback if you are interested, but wanted to compliment you on your efforts.

I appreciate all your comments and feedback. Thanks.
Scott,
Found my way over here from Matthew's men@pause seminar. Did you get your ScotteVest poster back on the wall yet? It almost took you out during the second video, but you didn't miss a beat! This is my first introduction to your products - look forward to learning more. Thank you for sharing your story and presenting the interview in a cool way.
Best wishes,
Kyle
Yea, the poster falling was kind of odd; i just put those up before the interview to give something interesting to look at in the background. I suppose i need to attach them.
I saw your interview at Matthew Scott's blog post at his men@pause blog site - thanks for sharing your story! Love your products by the way!
Hey, Scott. I just got through watching the interview with Matthew Scott and thought it went very well.
While I was watching the video it suddenly occurred to me that the videos you have been doing are accomplishing something that is unusual today and that is that you are putting a face and a person on your products and business. I'm old enough (73 actually) to remember when you bought your groceries from that nice Mr. Jenkins who runs the store and had your shoes repaired by Frank up there on the corner. The videos you are posting are producing that same sort of feeling about your clothing line. "This jacket? Oh, I bought this from Scott." That's a far different feeling than buying merchandise from a faceless company and I think it will stand you in good stead no matter how big ScotteVest becomes.

I really appreciate all the comments on this post. I take these all to heart. I am glad people are reading/watching! We intend to do more and more of this stuff. Please keep posting!

Scott:
Very cool inner-view with Matthew Scott. I am a men@pause dude. Your story struck a chord with me. My view of success is waking up in the morning and having options. I have been blessed to live on a river with my wife and eight critters. I just discovered what it is I want to do, and am working on how to do it. Matthew has been a great guide for me and many others who are looking to live a life with purpose. Thanks for getting real and inspiring my wife and I. Yea, we both watched your blog! Ever consider making your man-bag-vest with a built in air bag or as a floating device?
Hi Scott,
I am a friend of Matthew Scott and his men@pause seminar philosophy. I love the balance of creativity and functionality of your Scottevest and am inspired by your move from attorney to entrepreneur.
You epitomize the entrepreneurial spirit upon which the USA was founded.

Matthew sent me over from his men@pause seminar site. And, I watched the entire thing. I've heard a couple of his interviews, but this was cool watching one.
Thank you for your authenticity. To me, this is the only way to live our lives and run our businesses.
Your on camera presence is great. For example, when the poster fell. It was almost like it didn't happen. But I believe this all comes through because of your authenticity.
Your story is an inspiration and again, I thank you for putting yourself out there.
Btw, I'm now considering a jacket or shirt.
I found my way over to your interview and blog via men@pause and Matthew Scott. What an awesome interview and a true inspiration. This country is founded upon the true spirit of an entrepreneur and you embody that spirit.
I am unbelievably impressed and honored to receive these comments. This is practically the most commented on post yet. This speaks volumes for Matthew Scott, and his work. I wish building the business was as easy as it seemed in a brief interview. It was tough, but clearly worth it. I just keep reminding myself of what it was like to do something i hated, and then worked harder to ensure I didn't fail.
Thanks for the encouragement.
Sincerely,
Scott
Scott,
Love the SeV. I am a men@pause dude, and saw your interview withMatthew Scott. I appreciate and respect your entrepreneurial drive. Work hard so you can play even harder, what a deal! I look forward to seeing more and more about SeV and becoming an owner soon! I am sold on both you and the product!
hi Scott,
It is pretty cool to be able to actually see the person on the other end of a Matthew Scott interview. I often listen to Matthew's interviews at men@pause seminar and followed over here.
What you are doing is great by the way, keep it up!
Michael
Scott:
Great interview with Matt Scott. Really enjoyed hearing your story and it is exactly what men@pause practitioners crave.
All the best,

Scott,
I can see my men@pause dudes are feeling the ScotteVest love by their comments.
I really respect my men@pause friends. Like you said in our interview, each of these men are successful in Corporate America-yet they want to create a life + work design.
Our men@pause seminar interview and your authenticity on your own blog and website show other men a roadmap for both professional success and personal significance.

Great comments everyone and a great interview between Matthew and Scott!
I work with Scott at SeV, and working in an entrepreneurial environment is different from working anywhere else. Every day is intense, but fulfilling. Every action has a direct impact (as does every inaction).
It's great to meet other like-minded people - Matthew, you have really touched on something special.
Hey us gals are here too! Even though I'm am of the feminine persuasion, I can really identify with the men@pause thing. Male or female, it's very hard to leave the safe and the known, and venture into entrepreneurship. Matthew Scott and his group provide great support in that endeavor. Maybe I should talk to him about starting a women@pause affiliate?!
But seriously Scott, I love the vests. I'm buying one for my Dad, and maybe one for my husband too. I'm tired of being their pack mule! So cheers -- here's to ROI on your video adventure.

Thom,
Very kind of you.
I love what you are doing as a company.
I am a believer!

Scott:
Yet another men@pause dude who came over to check out your site and listen in on the interview.
I think your comments about your wife and the ability to have her support can not be underestimated. In order for any of us to make the leap into entrepreneurship, it sure helps a lot to have the support of our significant others.
You have a cool site and I plan to return to watch you grow and reach new levels of success.
Cheers,
TIMMY B
Scott --
Good stuff. Expertly drawn out by Matthew Scott. Love the vest idea . . . so obvious. No wonder it's resonating with so many. Great interview. Thank you for letting us 'in' the inner sanctum.
Best,
Bill
