Here's our PR pitch to get me on MAJOR TV shows, e.g. Leno, Letterman, Colbert, Oprah, etc.

Dear:

Who would ever think a CEO would model underwear in the office, and post a YouTube video of the experience for all the world to see?  This might be one of the craziest pitches that you have ever received, but you need to watch this VERY funny short video will make you either smile or blush....

In it, is Scottevest CEO Scott Jordan showcasing his new product, the SeV Travel Boxers.  We issued a press release about the product launch, which is available here.

Funny Idea:  Have Scott come on your show, wearing our new Carry-On CoatTM but wearing the Travel Boxers underneath.  The Carry-On CoatTM is a very innovative product, and you can watch a short video about it here.

This last bit may be a bit much, but thought I'd throw it out there.... If the underwear pitch does not work for you, please consider any of these other angles, equally interesting, but less provocative.

  • Unique and innovative travel clothing segment that saves you money and time.  Here's a brand new item we just launched, the Carry-On Coat - a Trench Coat that doubles as a carry-on.  CNN HLN covered it this last weekend.
  • What happened when we recently submitted an ad to Delta Sky Magazine showing how our products help save baggage fees after they rejected the ad, the story recently went viral with over 285,000 websites referring to it and over 5 million people received a tweet about it.  It was covered by some major media including WSJ and LA Times, among others.
  • Our No Baggage Challenges, where we very recently sponsored Rolf Potts, noted travel writer, to travel around the world for 6 weeks with NO bags, just his SCOTTEVEST clothing.  We are sponsoring someone on Nov 9 to go to Japan for 10 days without baggage for charity. See www.nobaggagechallenge.com and www.rtwblog.com
  • General inspiration business story: see for example this CNBC segment from a few years ago.

Let me know what you think.   I will follow up with you in a few days to gauge your interest.

Best,

Dina
