ScotteVest Adds the “Molly Jacket” to Their Women’s Lineup

We here at Gear Diary enjoy using our SeV. Seriously. All your GD world travelers–Judie, Dan, Dino, heck even me — rely upon ScotteVest wear to keep us comfortable, yes, but also to help us tote our gear. In case you hadn’t noticed, in most ways the clothing world hasn’t really caught up to our modern, gadget-heavy lifestyle, forcing irritating compromises — like clipping a bunch of stuff to your belt, say. No, no, say the guys at ScotteVest; time to design clothes that actually help you tote your gear. There newest item–which looks to me like something Katherine Hepburn would want to wear while searching for the source of the Nile–is The Molly Jacket:
The Molly Jacket is the first in a long list of brand new SCOTTEVEST apparel debuting in 2012. And we think it’s representative of everything we’re about here at SeV: innovation, quality, and smart design (which to us means both fashion-wise AND function-wise).
17 pockets make this jacket great for both travel and every day use – trendy exterior pockets as well as interior pockets to secure money, cell phone, etc. It also has a special little pocket inside that we like to call the “Lipsticker” here at the office. The coat is available in “Antique” (pictured left) and “Onyx” (on Laura, above).
Perfect gift for yourself or for a special woman in your life (Valentine’s Day is coming in two short weeks… hint hint).
Available for an MSRP of $175. And before you start choking on the price, let me say this: like almost everyone here on GD, I have several pieces of ScotteVest wear, and they are comfortable, functional, and durable. What do I mean by durable? Well, the jacket that I received as a gift 4 years ago still looks like flippin’ new; that’swhat I mean by durable. So check it out, along with the rest of ScotteVest’s gear; it’s good stuff.
