Thoughts on whether we should change our name to SeV

We received an overwhelming response to this question on my personal Facebook page, with the overwhelming consensus to leave the name as is. I posted this response.  Please weigh in.  Thanks.

Everyone, thanks for your opinion on this matter. I really appreciate it. I am rethinking my intentions now in light of all the comments.  You have no idea how hard it has been over the years to tell people my email address, or website.  I have to repeat it at least 4 times, each time emphasizing the "e" and spelling "vest" emphasizing the "V" too.  It is aggravating but magically it seems as though I don't have to do that as much, which is odd since I don't believe that "most" people have heard of us yet. In the grand scheme of things, i believe we have been exposed to only a very small percentage of the population, so if we did change I don't think we'd lose the people that already know about SCOTTEVEST as they will adopt the new name readily, IMHO. I am more concerned about the MILLIONS of people who have not heard of us.  As far as URL, we already are using www.GetSeV.com, so that is not an issue per se. I was thinking that if we did "change", we would always be known historically as SCOTTEVEST, and those that were there in the beginning would be able to say, "yea, i knew SeV when they were called SCOTTEVEST". Also, our logo is the SeV symbol.  Still lots to think about and wondering your thoughts in light of the above.  PS: the company/corp name would remain SCOTTEVEST, Inc. but the brand would be SeV.  Let me know if any/all of this makes sense and if so, does it change your opinion on this issue at all.  Thanks so much. I love the direct communication with my customers.
