Jackets, vests can replace carry-on bags
One of the new items is the SeV Carry-On Coat ($225), a trench coat with 33 pockets that is intended to completely replace the typical traveller's carry-on bag. It features pockets large enough to store folded shirts or other clothing, a protected iPad or (new) MacBook Air compartment as well as a variety of traditionally sized pockets. All of the Scottevest clothing have clear "touch pockets" that allow an iPhone or other small touch device to be used without removing it from the jacket, and a headphone-guide set of velcro traps and holes to allow "threading" the headphones of a music device though the collar, keeping headphone cords untangled and less noticeable as well as keeping the headphones and device together when the jacket is removed.
Other new items include a quilt-lined insulated jacket in men's and women's designs ($175-200), a lightweight vest for women ($100), a sports coat for men ($200, coming later this month) and boxer shorts ($20) with an external iPod pocket. Of special note is the new choice of a $450 lambskin-leather 10th anniversary jacket. In addition to the Apple-friendliness of the clothes' designs, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak sits on the board of directors for Scottevest.
