SeV intros 19 new iPod-friendly garments
ScotteVest today introduced a full line of clothing designed for Apple's iPod that includes 19 different garments, ranging from jackets and vests to hoodies, pants, t-shirts and polos. The new technology-enabled clothing (TEC) also includes two new women's garments designed to answer the demands of women who would rather not carry a purse. ScotteVest clothing features patented 'Personal Area Network' technology that allows users to wear clothing without any visible wires, and connects devices through a hidden conduit system.
The TEC system offers other unique features like magnetic closures and a multitude of ergonomic pockets designed to hold various electronic devices.
"What began in 2001 with just a single vest now encompasses almost every pieceof clothing a person could wear," the company said. "ScotteVest has recognized the need for clothing that is both stylish and functional. Our line affords you the mobility and personal freedom to hike, bike, walk, whatever. yet stay connected to the world."
The company has also released an online advertisement that parody's Apple's iPod silhouette commercials, showing a dancing shadow who becomes entangled in earbud wires.
