While the content of my blog evolves from day to day, it is based on a consistent philosophy: Each post reflects an honest assessment of what I’m thinking behind the scenes as we grow SeV here in beautiful Ketchum. This is not solely a marketing tool, but rumor has it that I’ll let some juicy coupon codes slip from time to time….

Message to People who Just got their Quantum/Fleece from SCOTTEVEST
Scott... sorry... have been out of town traveling (with my travel vest). By the way, the travel vest is just awesome.
Anyway, I just got back and found that I had received my Scott Jordan Signature System. Man... this an amazing product.
On the Fleece 5.0 portion: I really like the feel of the fabric (very soft) and the fact that it has a different, more water repellant fabric on the shoulders. The ergonomic zipper pulls are fantastic... I hope you put these on your other products where applicable. The other thing I liked was the redesign of PAN cable attachment points... much better. I also like the reflective accent points on the pockets... nice feature while walking, but not real obvious. I love the sleeve pockets... very handy.
On the Quantum Jacket portion: Several of the same comments from the Fleece apply. I like the weight of this jacket and the material. I have had other "shells" in the past, but many of them are either too light or too heavy or do not "breathe." I tend to be kind of a "warm" person in terms of body temperature. So, this jacket is just perfect in terms of weight and "breathability." The one feature I would like to see on this part is to have the ability to roll-up and store the detachable hood into the collar. You probably already considered that... and maybe I just need to rethink how I use that part... maybe storing the hood in one of the many pockets. But, quite honestly, that is only thing I could really think of that I would have done differently in terms of design.
I will be recommending this system to several of my friends. I have already had several comments in the few days I have had it. Again... you have a winner with this one... I could not be more pleased.

thanks; we have received a TON of favorable responses. I agree regarding the hood; it does fold on but is not easy to do. We will improve
