The struggle to avoid checked-bag fees has caused many travelers to rethink their packing strategy. While lightening the load is the ultimate goal, easy access to important items is also high on the list. The Scottevest Essential Travel Jacket allows you to pack many items - from wallet to camera to iPad - in your clothing, so all you have to do at the TSA checkpoint is put your jacket in a bin with your shoes and walk on through. With 18 pockets for plenty of gear, the jacket is also water-resistant and machine washable, so it's practical too. If the temperature warms up, just zip the sleeves off - the pockets are still in the vest.
What we liked: The zip-off sleeves are integrated much better than in many other travel jackets - which often look merely like a vest plus sleeves.
Not so much: Larger sizes can fit an iPad in the biggest pocket, but it may require taking off the protective cover. Just walking around caused my iPad to power on without my knowledge, so be sure to bring your power cord in another pocket.

Check out pic of Microsoft MVP SCOTTEVEST Windbreakers
Hi Scott.
I'm not sure if Mike sent you this picture of the windbreakers but in case
he did not, it is attached.
They were great and everyone liked them. The fellow in the pic that does
not have it on decided to sell his to another MVP. He is a "big" guy and
the XL was just a little too tight in his arms. I told him to order an XXL
next year!
