Great friend @PeterShankman mentions #SeV in his "Things I'd Like to See Happen in 2012"

14) May 2012 be the year that DailyWorthSnapGoodsNamelyTrippyScotteVestRight Next DoorPixability, and all the companies in whom I’ve invested and for whom I advise break out into the mainstream and earn a ton of money.

Gotta love having good friends that wish good things for you in the new year. Glad I wasn't mentioned on this one:

2) May 2012 be the year that all of the self-appointed gurus, experts, and rock-stars fall off cliffs to their mangled, bloody deaths into the oceans of anonymity, thousands of feet below.

2. The Doraemon: 18-pocket trench

Scotte vest
Perfect for moms and cartoon spies.

The Doraemon always has a bottomless bag, but instead of guided missiles and dream-reading machines, she unknowingly accumulates lipsticks, lighters, manicure kits, needles and nunchucks.

Airport security is always a nightmare with this one.

With this figure-flattering trench, the Doraemon can pull off her coat and throw it into the X-ray bucket, and there’s no need to sift through a large purse.

iPad, camera, phone, water bottle, sunnies and more can all get tucked into the coat without looking like she’s extremely bloated.

Features include: 18 pockets, clear inside pockets, zipper and magnetic closures on pockets, and water bottle holder. Comes in red, black, mud, mist, thyme, periwinkle and paprika.

MORE COOL CHRISTMAS STUFF

December 15th, 2011 by Mas

A few years ago at the SHOT Show, I met an entrepreneur named Scott Jordan.  He had come up with the Scott-E line, clothing designed for folks who carry sophisticated electronic gear…which turns out to be clothing that’s remarkably effective for carrying gun gear, too.

Pockets for iPhones. Tunnels through the clothing for chargers.  He’s made stuff with flip-down solar panels over the shoulders to feed the chargers!

All way more than a Luddite like yours truly can handle…but all the ingenious little pockets discreetly and securely hide everything from passports to spare keys to a stash of cash…and, of course, things like pocket pistols and ammo strips and spare magazines for fighting-size handguns.

www.scottevest.com is the place to order – and remember, with only nine or so shopping days left, shipping time is running out.

I’ve been very happy with the quality and comfort of Scott’s product.  I’m wearing one of his sport shirts as I write this…feels like UnderArmour, only with a place to hide stuff.

Shooters, gun geeks, and just ordinary techno-yuppies should love the Scott-E-Vest product. All those non-gunners in your life need someplace to put their iPhones, too.

And, if anyone has been making Yuppie jokes because you carry an iPhone, get a MagPul carrier for it from magpul.com.

When your iPhone is in a MagPul carrier AND in a Scott-E-Vest…well, that just changes everything…

ScottE clothing is low profile and functional…

…with more useful hidden pockets than most folks can use.

Cure a friend of the heartbreak of yuppiedom, and give them a MagPul carrier for their iPhone!

Planning a get-away? Dan from @GearDiary takes a load off in Aruba while relaxing with his SeV Camp Shirt! http://tinyurl.com/7cwkvs6

When I was getting ready for last week’s vacation, I knew I needed a few more shirts to lounge around in. T-shirts are great, but when you are going out to dinner or stopping by a local hotspot for fried fish, french fries, fried plantains and beer (seriously the place was AWESOME), you want something a little nicer. I have had my eye on the new SCOTTEVEST Camp Shirt for some time, so before our recent trip to Aruba I went ahead and ordered myself two of them.

I have a new favorite warm-weather shirt!

The SeV Hype:

You’ll be cool, confident, and cruisin’ in your SeV Camp Shirt. It’s the shirt to wear when you want to look just as cool as you feel. With upscale casual style it works pretty much everywhere around the globe (except Siberia in winter!). Perfect for everyday and a travel essential because luckily – it packs great, is quick-dry and wrinkle resistant! And for your convenience, there are 3 fabulous pockets! The chest pocket has a magnetic closure so when you accidentally drop that ticket to the Lakers’ game and lean down to pick it up, your cell phone won’t fall onto the pavement. Oh, and it feels great because of the soft Modal fabric and the straight cut (so you can wear it un-tucked and still look sharp). The perfect shirt to be cool and look confident for the airport, a backyard get-together, or out to dinner in a sunny resort.

Safari

The Camp Shirt is super-comfortable. The material is soft, it washes well and dries quickly and it simply FEELS good to wear. From the minute I put the first one on (and took out the SeV Fan cards in the pocket – what do Judie and I have to do to get on those cards, Scott???) I knew I was a fan. The shirt just feels relaxed. That makes it perfect for vacation!

And while the Camp Shirt looks like a relaxed-fit summer shirt from the outside but it is all SeV on the inside. It has:

3 pockets at your service so you can relax

Magnetic closure chest pocket so you can relax even more!

Patented Personal Area Network (PAN) to keep your wires under control

Quick-drying and breathable

Machine Washable

29 = Food Order #29 (not Balashi #29)  :)

The SeV Camp Shirt is available in Steel Blue, Mango and Cafe au Lait for $65 each. Check them out here on the SeV site.

MSRP: $65

What I Like: Comfortable; Machine washable and fast drying; Hidden SeV pockets make it quite useful while traveling; Looks and feels great

What Needs Improvement: I kept hoping to see Judie or myself on the fan card in the pocket! :-(

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him.
