While the content of my blog evolves from day to day, it is based on a consistent philosophy: Each post reflects an honest assessment of what I’m thinking behind the scenes as we grow SeV here in beautiful Ketchum. This is not solely a marketing tool, but rumor has it that I’ll let some juicy coupon codes slip from time to time….

Review of Beta Items SCOTTEVEST-Should we Produce these?
YES YES YES on those pants. I really like the expandable waist as i tend to go from in shape in the spring/summer to fatass in the winter, so they become year round pants :P
Also, the more variety in pants the better so it doesn't look like I'm wearing the same pair of pants to work every day :)
Yes on the light weight windbreaker type jacket and yes on the expandable waist. Most of the traveling I do is by car and I like a waist band that "gives" when I sit. Sizing on the pants: Please don't forget us older guys that no longer have a 30" waist. Bigger waist sizes are harder to come by in off the rack in anything except work clothes.
Introducing your products and soliciting opinions with the video is a great idea.
I love your choice of words... "weigh in"... especially as it relates to the expandable pants. As my weight fluctuates over the course of the year, those pants would be great.
I like the expandable pants; however, I don't want to see the bunched up elastic. Currently, I own 2-3 pairs of Dockers with the expandable waistline, but Dockers has a special piece of fabric which hides the expandable section so the pants don't look like expandable pants. The slide pockets are good on your new product as always. Consider making the inner lining of the hidden zipper compartment a bright orange to better spot items (especially metal objects) prior to going through a TSA screening station. If you go to www.briggsandriley.com, you will see what I mean.
I like the pants as well, but agree that the elastic should be hidden. Also, the lower side pockets looks very long - which may be necessary for easy access - I don't know! If the seam/pocket opening were less obvious, that would be great. I would hope the edges of the opening are reinforced somehow so that you don't get unwanted wrinkling/shrinkage where they come together.
