  1. Dictionary.com calls ideation "the process of forming ideas or images."

It reminds me of something I used to do with a coworker at a previous company.... It was called B.S. Bingo. Throughout the course of the day, anytime a consultant or employee used a "marketing buzzword" you would mark it down. Whoever had the most at the end of the day had sat through the most unproductive meetings. Here are some of my favorites:

    * Ideation - the opposite of deciding and the mortal enemy of the OODA Loop: Observe, Orient, Decide, Act.
    * Best Practices - does that even make grammatical sense?
    * Managing Expectations - how about working hard to exceed expectations instead?
    * Out of the Box - nothing shows how *in* the box you are than using this phrase
    * Core Competencies - how about "what you do best"?

The rest of these I copied/pasted:
    Synergy
    Strategic fit
    Bottom line
    Revisit
    Take that off-line
    24/7
    Out of the loop
    Benchmark
    Value-added
    Proactive
    Win-win
    Think outside the box
    Fast track
    Result-driven
    Empower (or empowerment)
    Knowledge base
At the end of the day
    Touch base
    Mindset
    Client focus(ed)
    Ballpark
    Game plan
    Leverage
    Cascade
    Sequential or sequentially

Ok - back to real work!
