While the content of my blog evolves from day to day, it is based on a consistent philosophy: Each post reflects an honest assessment of what I’m thinking behind the scenes as we grow SeV here in beautiful Ketchum. This is not solely a marketing tool, but rumor has it that I’ll let some juicy coupon codes slip from time to time….

Video Blog Post -Fleece 5.0 Preview -New Recording Studio
Scott, Nice studio. Here's my suggestion...Lose the black curtain...pleats are distracting and detract from the black jacket being "demo'ed". Replace with clean white background with large, crisp graphic of SeV logo. Branding should be prominent and pervasive. :-) Barbara
Scott, The first thing I noticed was the big improvement in the sound quality. Much clearer and I suspect that is due to the cloth drape and the overhead mike combination. I agree with Barbara that the black color of the curtain makes it a little hard to see the details of the jacket. I would keep a nice sound absorbent cloth background though and I personally didn't find the pleats distracting, just the color.
That said I think the outdoor shots were really good for placing you and your company in a context for your customers. Don't lose the outdoor shots completely but demo your products in the studio.
wow; all great comments; thanks very much; we threw up the black fabric in the back super quickly, and now see that we need a single piece of fabric rather than the 3 separate strips. i am going to spend some time working on this next week. we wanted to use black background to be consistant with our other videos coming soon.
keep the comments coming; it is nice to know people are out there reading this.
